If your running Windows 2000 or Windows XP two other new features are included: a check of your computer for security holes with one click and the detection and removal of spyware, keystroke loggers and monitoring software.
Additionally, there's improved capability to alert you to serious virus outbreaks and automatically adjusts your security settings as needed.

This product offers a lot of security in one suite. However, there are some drawbacks to consider...when performing scans it uses a lot of system resources, thus slowing down other applications you may be running. Secondly, no protection for Wi-Fi networks (a real oversight). Wi-Fi security is a "must have" feature. Lastly, Norton telephone support costs $29.95 per incident (they have free online chat support and Symantec Solutions Library on their website). Telephone and online chat support are available 24/7. You'd be better off upgrading to the latest version when it becomes available than renewing your subscription. Keep these caveats in mind when comparing to similar products on our website.
